Dr. James W. Horton is a native Oak Ridger and a graduate
the University of Kentucky.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association and the Second District Dental Society.  Dr. Horton worked to help establish the ease of electronic claims filing for the dental industry and helped to develop software and operating systems for use in dental offices.


Our dental office is committed to providing each patient with an exceptional level of care and attention. Our dedicated staff and preferred specialists work  together as a team to provide high-quality comprehensive care. Our compassionate and understanding staff takes  pride in paying close attention to each patient's needs.  A carefully organized treatment plan is standard procedure - so that your care can be accomplished in the best manner.
 
Dr. Horton offers general dentistry service for patients of all ages!  We have been proud of the friendships we have formed with entire families!  Children should be seen by age 2 1/2 and dental care should continue throughout life.  Dr. Horton believes totally in preventive dentistry and has worked tirelessly to teach patients how to care for their teeth.

Dr. Horton has been in private practice in Oak Ridge Tennessee since 1981 and has worked with dental implants since 1992.  His most recent classwork was in January 2010 with Zimmer Institute.  If you would like information on dental implants just go to WWW.Zimmer.COM or you may phone Dr. Horton's office.

Our dental office is conveniently located near the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge , at Traffic Light #4.  Bus Terminal Road is only on the East side of the Turnpike, across from the Cheyenne Medical Building.  We  are open Monday through Thursday   8:00 am until 5:00 pm  and accept same-day appointments (based on availability). The office has parking right by the front door, a covered entrance (for those rainy days!) and treatment room windows that overlook a park.  You'll recognize us as a modern, free-standing brick building next to the Pinewood Softball Park.  The Oak Ridge postoffice is behind us.

  We  are a Preferred Provider with Delta Dental and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee; we will file and accept most major plans and we accept most major credit cards.
